Our mission statement
At Proctors, we’re driven by real purpose. We want to do the best we can for the people inside our business and outside it.
It might be little things, or grander gestures. Internal business policies, or our outward-looking relations. But by remaining accountable to our purpose, we’ll continue to make the biggest impact.
So, whether it’s composting our leftover lunches, donating time and talent to local causes, educating the next generation or running an energy-efficient building – our pledge is to do good, create good.
For our planet
We have 90 solar panels, powering our building, charging our fleet of electric vehicles and exporting excess capacity back to the grid
We’ve had an electric and plug in hybrid company car policy for over 12 years, with six charging points on site for employees and visitors to use
Our building used to be an old printworks – we salvaged, saved it and recycled all we could along the way, turning it into our new home and giving it a new lease of life
We have enhanced building insulation, helping us keep things more economical and energy efficient
We have automatic energy-saving lights throughout the building
We have a cycle to work scheme, to encourage fitness and reduce the use of cars
Our coffee and tea is sourced sustainably, responsibly and ethically. We provide a range of alternatives to dairy
We compost our food waste, recycle everything we can, and have even replaced plastic milk bottles in favour of traditional glass ones
We promote sustainable modes of travel when meeting our clients and attending events and we belong to the Commuter Travel Club – accessing discounted bus travel
We have living walls pumping oxygen into our working atmosphere, and have plenty of trees in our car park too. Oh, and did we mention we're a certified B Corporation?
