We say YES to working with and supporting local charities

share this post:

At Proctors, we want the work we do and the impact we have to be meaningful

And that means consistently taking actions that align with our values.

To that end, we’ve partnered with a number of charities, using our time, talent and resources to create a better world. Here are a few examples we’re especially proud of.

We work closely with Business Beats Cancer Bristol – Cancer Research UK's business-facing arm here in the city and its surroundings. A couple of our team even sit on the board. Through our partnership with them, we've created awareness campaigns complete with copy, design and marketing support, and assisted with event promotions year-round. And, of course, we got stuck in to raise some of those all-important funds ourselves.

We’ve taken part in The Big Hike, where a group of brave Proctorians hiked 26.5 miles through the Brecon Beacons on a beautiful, brisk Saturday, raising an impressive £1,832.

More of our team took on 'The Big Ride Cycle Challenge' - a 79.2-mile loop starting from our offices in Easton and continuing through Cheddar Gorge, Wells, and the surrounding areas. With thighs of steel, our amazing team raised another £815 – a storming success.

We also fundraise and have run a 24-hour relay in aid of Alzheimer’s Research UK, hosted Macmillan coffee mornings and donated food, clothing supplies and furniture to communities in need.

We’re proud to donate our time pro bono to work with local charities such as Babbasa and Young Bristol (both fantastic organisations offering opportunities to young people) and sponsor our local Easton women’s football team.

Plus, each year, our incredibly talented team of animators, copywriters and marketeers create a Christmas card video to spotlight a local charity and get Bristolians, clients, friends and relatives digging deep for a good cause.

We'll carry on doing what we can to help those in need and, closer to home, ensure we're cultivating an inclusive community, remaining a place where employees and guests feel welcome, valued and appreciated.
